The Journey…

All of it comes forward when you’re raising children of your own. And when those deeply ingrained patterns collide with the high ideals we hold of the mother we want to be, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disoriented, and guilty.  Everything we’ve relied on to navigate the world—our identities, our coping strategies, even our sense of control —gets questioned and challenged.  We often feel as if we’re failing at the most important job we’ll ever have.  But these very shifts, the ones that make you feel lost and unsteady, are the doorway to becoming both the mother and the YOU that you were always meant to be.

Motherhood has a way of bringing everything to the surface:

The Identity Shifts of Motherhood

The beliefs you inherited

The roles you were taught to play

The unspoken rules you grew up with.

You're Not Alone

If any of these challenges resonate, then you're in the right place.

  • You can anticipate what everyone else needs before they even ask, yet you struggle to identify what you need.
You pour from an empty cup and feel like you're drowning, then judge yourself for feeling depleted.

  • Your priorities, identity, and sense of self have shifted, but no one talks about that part of motherhood. You miss the woman you were, even as you love the mother you’ve become.

  • You keep it together for your family, your team, your friends. But behind the smile is mental exhaustion and resentment you don’t want to admit.

  • When you focus on work, you feel guilty about your kids. When you focus on your kids, you feel guilty about your ambitions. No matter what, you feel like you’re drowning. You feel like you can’t win, and it’s exhausting.

  • Years of people-pleasing and second-guessing have dulled your intuition. You want to make confident choices without needing everyone’s approval or fearing you’ll get it wrong.

  • From the outside, life looks good. But inside, you’re running on fumes, questioning why fulfillment is lacking. You wonder if this is just how motherhood is supposed to feel or if there’s a better way.

  • You want more space, creativity, and joy in your life. But you worry that choosing yourself means letting someone else down.

  • Self-care and rest feel like more items on the to-do list. You can’t remember the last time you felt truly still, present, or playful.

  • The job, the friendships, the routines—something about one or more of those things no longer fit. You can feel something new calling, but stepping toward it feels equal parts thrilling and terrifying.

  • You don’t want to go back; you want to move forward into a version of you that honors your whole self: woman, mother, leader, and human.

Motherhood changes you from the inside out. It expands you in the best and most challenging of ways. And coaching is an ideal support structure to help you make sense of it all.

What Clients are Saying

A New Perspective…

Selfish Isn't a Bad Word

We’ve been taught that selfishness is wrong. And sometimes, it can be. Expecting others to sacrifice for our benefit or being predominantly concerned solely about oneself can definitely be detrimental to our relationships. But everything lives on a spectrum. When selfishness is done in a healthy way, it gives you clarity and confidence amidst all the demands you’re juggling. It grounds you in your truth, strengthens your relationships, and makes you a more present, and authentic woman and mother. Healthy selfishness isn’t neglectful of your children—it’s leadership. When you choose yourself, you model for your children what self-love, self-growth, and self-trust look like. And you help them see that we’re always on the journey of self-discovery and unfoldment.

  • No. The motherhood journey is unique to each woman and identity shifts and challenges can show up at any time. I work with mothers of young children to mothers with grandchildren, and all moms in between. With that said, the postpartum period is incredibly sensitive and I ensure moms with children under the age of 2 know about postpartum services.
